- About Us: I understand that 'Research Northwest' is a brand owned by Dalemedia Ltd; a company registered in England no. 06921198, Head Office; 3, No. 1 Court, Rochdale, OL16 5AJ, UK. I understand that the management of all personal data held on this panelist database is subject to English Law and the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). I understand that Research Northwest are also registered with the UK Information Commissioners' Office (ICO) (search for us using the reference number ZA024367). I understand I am legally entitled to contact the ICO at any time to make a complaint. Research Northwest is also a fully aaccredited Member of the AQR Recruiter Accreditation Scheme (See our certificate here) as well as a full Member of the UK Market Research Society.
- About You: In this context, I understand that I am the 'Respondent', that the 'Commissioning Client' is the company or individual who has (in turn) been commissioned by a given individual, brand, business, political party or other similar corporation - referred to herein as the 'Originating Client' - to conduct a research project using Research Northwest respondents, which I may be invited to take part in.
- About Paid Incentives: I understand that although Research Northwest will always work to ensure respondents are paid in full for any projects attended, any disputes relating to cash incentives or other remunerations offered as part of specific research projects are solely a matter between the Commissioning Client and the Respondent.
- About My Personal Data: By completing the form below, I understand that there will be eight separate items of my personal data held on an ongoing basis by Research Northwest as follows: my name, surname, email address, telephone number, gender, date of birth, occupation / employment status and the town I live in (or live nearest to). I understand that all of these eight items of my personal data will be automatically removed as, if or when I choose to unsubscribe from this database.
- About Any Research-Related Data: I understand that any other personal data submitted to Research Northwest, for example as part of any future research projects I may be invited to, are always permanently deleted no later than six months after the project is completed.
- Confidentiality: I agree that any data I supply in this form will only be used in order to facilitate my attendance at various market research focus groups as they become available. I understand that any personal data I submit to Research Northwest via this form, or via any subsequent questionnaires for specific research projects, will be kept completely confidential.
- Data Security: I understand that Research Northwest IT equipment is permanently held in secure locked premises, with each IT device fully password protected. I understand that personal data relating to specific market research projects will only ever be sent to the Commissioning Client via a secure File Transfer Protocol (FTP) upload or by fully password-protected email attachments.
- Who Actually Sees My Personal Data? I understand that any and all data I provide to Research Northwest for specific research projects will only ever be made available to the Commissioning Client. I understand that, in line with the Code of Conduct as set down by the UK Market Research Society, all identifiably personal data is always removed before it is seen by the Originating Client and that it will never be divulged to any other third party or marketing agency.
- Seeing Your Personal Data: I understand that, at any time, I can request a full written log of all my personal data held by Research Northwest.
- Unsubscribing from this Database: I also understand that I can unsubscribe from this database at any time, and that all items of my personal data would thus be automatically removed.
